According to Project Management Institute’s (PMI) [https://www.pmi.org/-/media/pmi/documents/public/pdf/learning/thought-leadership/pulse/pulse-of-the-profession-2018.pdf?sc_lang_temp=en 2018 Pulse of the Profession® report], 9.9% of every dollar spent on projects is wasted, a trend that has seen no improvement for several years. The same report showed the best performers waste 21 times less money than the worst performers, illustrating just how important effective project management approaches can be.
