Drones... an emerging and fast-growing technology or a bane on our lives?

With increasing numbers of incidents appearing in the news (near misses close to international airports etc) it is becoming imperative that the law and regulations are tightened, making it more challenging to fly drones in certain environs... and rightly so for obvious reasons.
