Advantages of the large glass panel: ambiental light helps fight infections, and it is good for the psychological wellbeing of the staff and patients (eliminating the claustrophobic usual OR environment). What do you think of this? Any modern guideline supporting this? (haven´t been able to find one on the web). (I am a cancer surgeon)

In this article you talk about the benefit of natural light in the post-operative period, but I strongly favor natural light through large panes on the walls of the operating room itself.
