Its principles and policies are intended to transform how public works projects and programmes are assessed, procured and managed. It is a ‘compact’ between government and industry, setting out how they will work together in future.<br /> <br /> It states:<br /> <br /> ‘The new Project Scorecard is currently being trialed ahead of a planned launch in 2021 including published templates, guidance and training. Ahead of launch, contracting authorities can apply the same principle by clearly setting out outcomes at the start, understanding their contribution to government’s strategic priorities and referring to these throughout the project or programme lifecycle.<br /> <br /> ‘Project Scorecards should be referred to within the contracts, forming part of the contractual documentation.
