Other ideas that were proposed included:

* Trade specific training and apprenticeships schemes and more flexible access to studying relevant subjects as required.
* Industry publications providing simple guidance (rather than commentary and pictures of buildings).
* Amalgamate the knowledge base of all of the information that is available
* Preventing unqualified people from working.
* Developing procurement methods that support knowledge sharing.
* Developing the i3p model to the wider construction industry.
* Creating practical video tutorials.
* An umbrella institute for the industry / sharing platforms to avoid duplication.
* A common knowledge taxonomy similar to CI/SfB

19 of the respondents would like to be part of a task group to tackle the construction knowledge gap, and 4 would be prepared to commit resources.

Closing comments from respondents were generally supportive, with calls for greater collaboration. There were a number of requests to understand more clearly what the role of the proposed task group would be, and what time commitment this would require.
