&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;On 22 August 2017, the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) released details about their new framework, which they claim could significantly reduce the cost of managing public sector estates.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Estates Professional Services framework (RM3816) enables organisations to purchase help with managing their estates and assets through advice, guidance and associated services.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In addition, such services could help with the reduction of property costs, the release of unwanted property assets, and the identification of savings and opportunities of generating income from land and buildings.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The CCS estimates that the framework could save public sector bodies such as local councils, NHS trusts, schools, emergency services and housing associations around £35 million over the next four years.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Over the course of the framework’s next four years, CCS expect spending of £430 million, with more than one-third of the businesses supplying the new agreement being SMEs. An innovative lotting structure will help maximise regional expertise.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For the first time, the framework provides access to vertical real estate suppliers, as well as a managed procurement offering. The framework also has a new focus on regional expertise, prompted by more SMEs winning places to supply estates services to the public sector than ever before.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The framework will be structured into 4 ‘lots’, with the inclusion on ‘lot 2’ of regional panels.&lt;br /&gt;

* Lot 1 - National.&lt;br /&gt;
* Lot 2A - East Anglia.&lt;br /&gt;
* Lot 2B - East &amp;amp;amp; West Midlands.&lt;br /&gt;
* Lot 2C - London &amp;amp;amp; South East England.&lt;br /&gt;
* Lot 2D - North East England.&lt;br /&gt;
* Lot 2E - North West England &amp;amp;amp; North Wales.&lt;br /&gt;
* Lot 2F - Northern Ireland.&lt;br /&gt;
* Lot 2G - Scotland.&lt;br /&gt;
* Lot 2H - South Wales &amp;amp;amp; South West England.&lt;br /&gt;
* Lot 3 - Vertical Real Estate.&lt;br /&gt;
* Lot 4 - Facilities Management and Property Services (Procurement Managed Service).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This new agreement aims to complement the CCS’s other property frameworks (Project Management and Full Design Team Services, Facilities Management, and Construction), enabling the provision of a comprehensive property management solution package.&lt;br /&gt;
