The intention of the Code is to reinforce best practice and ensure that before and after signing the contract, home buyers feel they are fully informed about their consumer rights and have been treated fairly. In addition, the aim is for home buyers to be fully informed about the low-cost dispute resolution arrangements that are available in the event of any complaints.
