Lightweight Voidfill

[edit] Stylite EPS Geofill Applications - Lightweight Voidfill

[edit] EPS Geofill can be used to provide a lightweight void fill solution. Wherever there is a void, but in particular where there are susceptible service pipes below the void, then EPS Geofill is a good choice of fill material.

[edit] Case Study

Warrington market used Stylite EPS Geofill to build the floor level up to the same height as an adjoining part of the building where a temporary market was being built as part of Warrington Borough Council’s flagship Bridge Street Regeneration Project. Around 1000m3 of Geofill was used, and as you can see the blocks of EPS were cut on site to fit around service pipes.

The main benefit for this project was the speed of installation but also with restricted access the lightweight blocks were more easily moved from delivery vehicles to site than what other traditional fill materials would have been. This saved the contractor time and money.
