Civil engineering careers advice and guidance
In November 2017, ICE launched a new and improved website, aimed at giving young people, teachers and parents the advice they need to start a career in civil engineering.
It can be found at ice.org.uk/wice and is part of ICE's revamped website section that seeks to answer the question, What is civil engineering?
As well as advice on all routes into civil engineering the new web pages also host a wealth of education resources. If you are going into schools or colleges you can access useful presentations, print and fun activities to run.
ICE have also added new activity packs, links to loads more useful resources online and helpful guidance for working with children and young people.
The new web section also has in-depth case studies of civil engineering projects and also the people behind them. Readers can search by project type or career stage to help find inspiration and grow their understanding of the diverse range of career paths.
This article was originally published here by ICE on 9 Nov 2017. It was written by Kathryn Denham-Maccioni.
